Banfield Properties, Inc
Banfield Properties, Inc., now in its 60th year of operations, was founded in 1963 by Tony and Finetta Banfield. The company began as a sole proprietorship and operated but a single building in those early years. By strategically acquiring and operating older properties, Banfield Properties early on carved its niche in real estate development and management.
In the early 1970s, Banfield Properties partnered with the Hausman and Lott families which promoted significant company growth over the last six decades.
Since the beginning, Banfield Properties, along with Hausman Interests and Lott Investments has acquired, developed, and/or sold over 30 residential and commercial properties throughout the years.

For the past ten years, Banfield Properties, Inc. has been run by its 2nd generation of family members, Tony Banfield, Jr., Greg Banfield, and Brett Banfield. The company currently has ten apartment properties (930 units) and four commercial buildings under ownership and management; with plans to expand into a mixed-use development by 2024.
BMI Management, Inc
BMI Management, Inc. was formed in 1992 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Banfield Properties, Inc. to manage all properties in the Banfield Properties portfolio, letting Banfield Properties Inc. devote full-time to new development activities.
Presently, BMI Management Inc. manages 930 apartment units in ten different projects, primarily in the Houston metropolitan and central Texas areas.
Banfield Properties Inc and BMI Management Inc employ a staff of fifty five people for the supervision and administrative support for the management responsibilities.
BMI Management is fortunate to have very long tenured and dedicated employees that have worked for the company for many years.
